WOOSTER – Kenneth E. BORAH, 88, of Wooster, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born March 22, 1926 in Fairfield, IL, the son of John J. and Flora Jackson Borah. He married Mildred Millie Rogers on June 4, 1949. She survives.
He had worked for the Will-Burt Co. in Orrville for 21 years retiring in 1991. Kenneth was a member of the West Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, Calebs Kin and his grandchildren. He proudly served his country with the US Army Air Corp during WWII.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Diane (Wayne) Hartman of Wooster and Jeffrey (Diane) Borah of Creston; grandchildren, Angela (Matt) Sloan and Ryan (Brandy) Hartman, great-grandchildren, Ray and Joseph Sloan and Jude Hartman and his siblings, Ruth (Del) Delaney of Mt. Vernon, IL, Joan (Leroy) Venters of Ridgway, IL and Richard (Jackie) Borah of Sacramento, CA., a sister-in-law Mildred M. Borah of Jacksonville, FL.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Ken Borah, Jr., brothers Lowell, Leo and John Borah.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Private family interment will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
