PERRYSBURG, OHIO “ Nancy Boykin of Perrysburg, Ohio and formerly of Wooster died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Toledo following a brief illness.
Nancy was born February 18, 1957 and grew up in Creston where she graduated from Norwayne High School.   She worked for Sodexo School Services for 26 years.
Surviving are her father and stepmother, Charles and Louise Boykin of Medina; sister, Susan and brother-in-law Dennis Meade of Wooster; stepfather, Russ McDermott of Waterford, Ohio; sister-in-law, Sandie Boykin of Florida, nieces, Dawn Boykin-Rice of Lancaster, Ohio, Angie Boykin-Norton and Paige Boykin-Balsinger and nephews Brian and Charlie Boykin all of Florida.
Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Jane McDermott and her brothers William and David Boykin as well as maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.  
At Nancy ™s request, private services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Christian School, 3970 Kidron Rd., Dalton, OH 44618 to assist with tuition for a family friend who is battling brain cancer.
