WOOSTER – Raymond Robert BINGAMAN, 84, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Glendora Health Care Center.
He was born November 21, 1929 in Miami, Florida, the son of Walter and Anna Diem Bingaman.   He married Nancy Williams on July 1, 1959.   She survives.
He had worked in sales and advertising and was a minister.   Ray was a member of the Church of the First Born.   Ray spent his life in the service of the Lord, his church and his family.   He enjoyed fishing, reading and gardening.   Ray proudly served his country with the US Army during the Korean War.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Ruth (David) Ozimek of St. Paris, Daniel (Molly) Bingaman of Overland Park, Kansas and Paul (April) Bingaman of St. Helens, Oregon; 13  grandchildren, Hope (Roy) Blaess, Julia (Evan) McLean, Johanna, Megan and Jessica Ozimek, Ryan, Clare, Nora, Ned, Annika and Morgan Bingaman, Ashley and Jake Casey; 9 great-grandchildren, Philip, Melinda, Benjamin, Rebecca, and Malachi Blaess, Grace, Ethan, Caleb, and Avah McLean and a brother, Charles (Pam) Bingaman of Tampa, Florida.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and brothers George and Arthur Bingaman.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.  at the Wooster Cemetery with Pastor Bill Smith officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
