WOOSTER “ Sarah G. œSally  Stryffeler, 83, of Wooster passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born April 3, 1931 in Medina, the daughter of George Atlee and Harriett Emily Clark Ganyard.   She married Myron W. Stryffeler on November 3, 1951.   He preceded her in death on August 8, 1998.
Sally was a graduate of Medina High School and attended Kent State University.   She was a life-long farmer with her husband raising registered Holsteins and then later registered Piedmontese beef cattle.   They were also well respected for trucking and care of quality registered cattle across all of the United States.
She was a life member of the Holstein Association, a long time board member of the Piedmontese Association of the United States.   Sally was an avid supporter of agriculture in Ohio.   She loved her horses and her Blue Heeler dogs.
She is survived by her daughters, Emily (Ronald) Heffner of Middletown, Maryland and Lou Ann (Karl) LeFever of Wooster; grandchildren Matt (Amanda)LeFever of Canadian, Texas and Katherine LeFever of Delaware, Ohio, a great-grandson, Lucas J. LeFever; a brother, Milton Ganyard of Georgia and a sister Maxine Gehrman of North Carolina.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded by a son, Myron Dale œButch  Stryffeler and sister ™s Georgialee Wagner and Betty Ganyard.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Kevan Franklin officiating.   Burial will follow in the New Pittsburg Cemetery.
