Dorothy L. DALRYMPLE, 99, of Wooster, died Saturday October 11, 2014 at Brookdale Senior Living.
 She was born January 27, 1915 in Mt. Vernon, daughter of M. N. and Ada Kerr Ross.   In 1938 she married Joseph Dalrymple.   He preceded her in death in 1980.
Dorothy was a graduate of Martinsburg High School in 1932, attended Ohio State University and later graduated from Ohio University in 1935.   She was a teacher for both Wooster Township and Delaware school systems.
She was a member of bridge clubs, book clubs and enjoyed reading, walking and exercising.
Dorothy is survived by her children Daniel (Carol) Dalrymple, Phillip (Leticia) Dalrymple both of Wooster and Lois (Jim) Hanger of Howie-in-the-Hills, FL; grandchildren Scott (Joni) Dalrymple, Brad Dalrymple, Leigh Ann Frontz, Craig Hall, Doug (Neesha) Dalrymple, Steve (Crystal) Dalrymple, JoAnn (Steve) Weaver and Diane (Ken) Esplin; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Carmon Ross and sisters Helen Humbert and Pauline Wolff.
Services will be Thursday October 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster with Rev. Kenn Curren officiating.   Interment will follow in at Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve.
Friends will be received on Thursday from Noon until the time of service.
