WOOSTER Mildred J. Williams, 92, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born in Rockcastle, West Virginia to Charles A. and Elva D. (Morrison) Hill. In 1946 she married Lansing E. Williams, son of Harry and Nora M. (Hickman) Williams. She moved to Wooster in 1954 when her husband was appointed to the faculty of the Ohio Agricultural Experiment Station (now the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center) The Ohio State University.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Donnie Hill of Parkersburg, WV, Charles Hill of Evans, WV and Arthur Hill of Mt. Alto, WV; one sister, Marie Harness of Cottageville, WV.
She is survived by her husband, her daughter, Patricia (Steve) Pribisko of Westlake, OH; her son, Lansing, Jr. (Lisa) of Wooster and four grandchildren, Christopher (Annie) and Kimberly Pribisko, Amanda (Zack) Kerby and Nicholas Williams and one great-grandson, Ryan Pribisko.
She was a wonderful homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday evening, October 22, 2014 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wooster United Methodist Church, 243 N. Market St., Wooster with the Rev. Charles Tobias officiating. Burial will be in the Wooster Cemetery.
