WOOSTER – Virginia Jane HENRY, 88, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the Wayne Co. Care Center.
She was born December 4, 1925 in Dalton, the daughter of Elmer and Lena Bixler Weuthrick. She married Charles Henry. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1987.
She was a homemaker who volunteered at the Huamne Society and the Wooster Community Hospital. She was a member of the Wooster Mennonite Church. She loved animals, going on zoo trips and she loved Jesus. Virginia enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Most of all, she loved her family.
Surviving are children, Debra Gruber, Patrick Weuthrick, Susan Henry Baker and Joel Henry all of Wooster; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her children Michael Gruber, Victor Henry, Lina and Franz Josef, and a brother Marion Weuthrick, her sisters, Goldie Brenneman and Elda McClanahan and a foster-sister, Martha Rhoades and a foster-brother, Rollin Moser.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 1:00 p.m. service on Friday, November 7, 2014 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Jacob Dodson officiating.
