WOOSTER – Donald Robert Sigler, 84, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Wayne Co. Care Center.
He was born January 7, 1930 in Wooster, the son of Lloyd and Della Horst Sigler. He married Carolyn J. Snyder on November 6, 1950. She survives.
He had been a dairy farmer for 47 years. In his retirement, Donald worked at Hawkins Market for 3 years and at Buehlers for 9 years. He attended the Church of the Saviour.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael D. (Brenda) Sigler of SC, Elaine M. (Steve) Steigerwalt of AL and Robert P Sigler of Deerfield, OH, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Linda S. Smith on December 21, 1993.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at Church of the Saviour, 480 Fry Road, Wooster on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Brent Durham officiating.
