Helen Louise Hendershot, 79, of Wooster died Wednesday November 19, 2014 in her home.
She was born August 2, 1935 in Mannington, WVA to Guy and Nellie Rice Ashbee.   On April 4, 1955 she married Robert Hendershot.   He preceded her in death in 1985.
Helen had worked for Bell + Howell, Wooster Brush and Wal-Mart.   She enjoyed painting, fishing, gardening and decorating cakes
She is survived by her daughter Diana McElroy and son Richard L. Hendershot; grandchildren Jamie Hendershot, Heather and Melissa McElroy; great-grandchildren Joshua, Dylan and McKenna Ramsier.
Along with her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Butch, Robert and Ray.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with the arrangements.
