WOOSTER – Joseph W GARTON, 67, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Life Care Center of Medina.
He was born June 19, 1947 in Weston, WV, the son of Lynwood H and Ellen C Keating Garton.
He was a molding operations manager for Sajar Plastics. He served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his sons, J. T. Garton of Wooster and David Garton of Sterling.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Burial will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at 1:30 p.m.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
