WOOSTER- Richard Ward, 90, of Wooster died Thursday, January 29th 2015, at Wayne County Care Center.   He was born August 19th, 1924 to Fred and Clara Lawrence Ward and lived in the same home for 90 years and five months.
He worked on the Ward Farm for his parents until their death.   Then he worked for brother, Virgil, on the Ward Poultry and Beef Farm for many years.   He was a member of the Wayne County Coin Club and was a collector of stamps.   He loved his cat Billy and his dog Barney.
He is survived by his sister Linda (Robert) Flickinger of Wooster, Virginia Young, of Amherst, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.   He is preceded in death by his brother Virgil Ward, sisters Dorothy Weygant, Peg Cardillo.
Services will be Monday February 2, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.   Friends and family may call one hour prior to the funeral.
