Wooster “ Edith M. Brenneman, 101, of Wooster passed away at her home on Thursday, February 26, 2015.
She was born June 16, 1913 in Wooster, the daughter of Harry and Hazel Barkus Derr.   She married Lehr L. Brenneman on June 19, 1936.   He preceded her in death on July 23, 2001.
Edith was a homemaker and had worked at Freedlander ™s and Bell and Howell.   She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, playing baseball and camping with them and traveling with her husband.
She is survived by her children; Deanne K. (Charles) Clegg of Columbus, Sue Ann (Paul) Fouche of Wooster and Margee L. (Terry) Brenneman-Turner of Lewis, Delaware; grandchildren, Greg (Stephanie) Fouche of Columbus and Chris (Jenny) Rea of Bethesda, Maryland; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Fouche, Maryclaire Fouche and Kayla Ball.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her parents and a sister, Priscilla Rich.
There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

Our special thanks to her live-in caretaker who went above and beyond to make Mom’s life comfortable and happy.     Too, to all the wonderful hospice workers, volunteers, and special friends who so graciously made our mother an important part of their lives—we’ll all miss her feisty,  unique sense of humor!
