WOOSTER – Richard L. MUTCHLER, 86, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at his home.
He was born June 15, 1928 in Loudonville, the son of Leo and Sara Bookman Mutchler.  
He retired from the Flxible Co. in Loudonville as a welder and had also farmed and was a milk hauler.   Member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in New Pittsburg where he was very active.   He enjoyed bowling, gardening, fishing, barbeques with family and reading westerns.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Miriam Walters Mutchler; his children Kurt (Sue) Mutchler of Wooster, Laura Mutchler and partner, Bill of Wellington, Michael (Mary) Mutchler of Mansfield, Mary Beth Greene and partner, Darren of Silver Thorne, CO, Joel Hecht and his partner, Donna Jean of Port Angeles, WA and Amy Howman of Ashland, 15 grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a son Pat Mutchler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at  St. Peter Lutheran Church, 9451 Ashland Rd., Wooster with the Rev. Kristy Buyok officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
