WOOSTER – Susan œSue  Nichols Bost, 86, of Wooster, formerly of Oakland, New Jersey, died Friday, June 5, 2015 at West View Healthy Living.
Susan was born April 27, 1929 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Ross and Irene Vincent Nichols.   She grew up, attending school in Rahway, New Jersey as well as graduating from the School of Fine Arts of Syracuse University in New York.   On January 28, 1956 she married Herbert A. Bost.   He preceded her in death in May of 1988.
Susan was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wooster.   She was an active member of Ponds Reformed Church in Oakland, NJ and is a past- president (1970 ™s) of the Lenni Lenape Girl Scout Council in New Jersey.   Also, as active members in the American Field Service (AFS), the Bost Family hosted a Greek œdaughter  Alecka Paspati for the 1977- 78 academic year.   In her younger years Susan enjoyed sailing.    Some of her other enjoyments were visiting the Quailcrest Farms Herb Garden, and word search books.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin (Matt) Sharp of Wooster and Heather (Arlin) Guess of Ft. Wainwright, Alaska; grandchildren Ted Sharp of Louisville, KY, Ian Sharp of Madison, WI, Kelly and Andrew Guess of Ft. Wainwright, Alaska; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, Susan was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Patricia Cherry.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at the  First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave., Wooster, with Rev. David Rice officiating.   The family will receive friends following the service in Bruch Hall.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Music Fund of Ponds Reformed Church, Oakland, New Jersey, the Music Fund of First Presbyterian Church, Wooster, OH or your local Girl Scout Organization.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
