WOOSTER – Rev. Clifford Cliff E. Hill, Sr., 70, of Wooster died at home on Sunday, September 13, 2015.
He was born January 17, 1945 in Raven, VA to James Luther and Myrtle Mae Hill. He was employed at Regal Ware for 10 years and worked 30 years for Amtrak Railroad Construction. He later pastored the Living Water Fellowship Church for 11 years. He married Tawana Custer in 2000, she survives.
Along with his wife, Cliff is survived by his children Bobby Hill of Lisbon, Myrtle Hill of Wooster, Robin (Jeff) Parker of Smithville, Clifford Hill, Jr., of Belmont, Robert (Susan) Brooks and Kelly (Constantine) Morcitis both of Columbus; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was the middle child of 4 older sisters, 2 younger brothers and two younger sisters. His siblings are Sonia Taulbee, Brenda Crawford, Sylvia Cruey and Dorothy Dudley all of Wooster and Ted Hill of Shreve and Mike Hill of Congress.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, a son Billy and sisters Betty Stutzman and Sharon Bevington.
He will be missed greatly for his loving nature, his compassion and his great desire to see souls saved. He was a true warrior for Christ and was loved by many!!
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Jim Senz officiating. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 PM and from 6:00-8:00 PM.
