Carolyn J. Carpenter, 85, of Wooster died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at West View Healthy Living.
She was born September 5, 1930 in Jamestown, CA to Carlin and Louise Decker Durgin.   On July 25, 1948 she married Edward D. Carpenter.   He preceded her in death on February 27, 2001.
For 40 years Carolyn and her husband had lived Yucca Valley, CA.
Carolyn was a homemaker and a great friend to many.
She is survived by her close friends of over 48 years, Ray and Pam Ginther and other special friends Michael, Rachel and Aubreigh Flack and Donna and Dave Anderson.
Along with her husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
A warm appreciation is offered to the staff and caregivers at West View Healthy Living, Dr. J. K. Miller and to LifeCare Hospice.
Per Carolyn ™s wishes no services will be held.   Her cremains will be interred in Riverside  National  Cemetery in Riverside, CA
