Winnie Steinbach Arner, 92, of Wooster died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at LifeCare Hospice.
She was born November 14, 1923 in Canton to Harvey and Bertha Pfeiffer Steinbach.   Winnie was the valedictorian of the Washington High School class of 1941 in Massillon.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul ™s United Church of Christ in Navarre.
Winnie is survived by her daughter Jeanette (John) Ziegler of Wooster; a step granddaughter; a niece and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters and one brother.
Private graveside service will held in Wooster Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Brookdale Place of Wooster and to LifeCare Hospice for their care and compassion for Winnie.
