WOOSTER – Timothy Arl Tim Helms, 32, of Wooster, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born April 30, 1984 in Orrville, the son of Timothy P. and Cynthia Massie Helms. He attended Triway High School.
He was a Mechanic for Galehouse Lumber in Doylestown. Tim was famous for his salsa, enjoyed gardening, was very musically talented on the guitar and drums, was very good with animals and was always there to help anyone who needed it.
Surviving are father, Timothy P Helms of Smithville, mother, Cynthia Massie of Wooster, maternal grandmother, Donna Massie of Wooster, paternal grandmother, Freda Helms of Orrville and his siblings, Blake Henley of Wooster, Josh (Michelle Brown) Helms of Wooster, Amanda Helms of Akron and Larissa Helms of Wooster. A special friend, Shannon Vizzo of Wooster and Dave Hawk of Wooster a special family friend
Timothy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Massie and paternal grandfather Arlie Helms.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the First Church of God, 1953 Akron Road, Wooster with Rev. Arnie Kaufman officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Those who wish may make contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
