WOOSTER “ Helen M. Ogden, 92, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
She was born December 12, 1923 in Wayne County, the daughter of William Lehr and Sylvia Smith Hodgen.   She married Glenn Arden Ogden in 1946.   He preceded her in death on February 7, 2004.
She was a 1941 graduate of Wooster High School and had worked at Wee Care Center for 31 years.   Helen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.   She enjoyed gardening, cooking and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her children, Rodney G. (Janice) Ogden of Wooster and Linda C. (William) Kendrick of Canton; grandchildren, Scott Kendrick, Jeanna (Chuck) Hoyt, Bryan (Julie) Ogden, Joseph (Emily) Ogden and Andrew (Chanel Pardo) Ogden, 5 great-grandchildren and a sister Evelyn Fulk of Rowsburg.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Shirley Ogden, a sister Hazel Speck and a brother Glenn Hodgen.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday, June 24, 2016 with the Rev. Paul Lintern officiating.   Burial will be in the Wooster Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wee Care Center, Inc., 424 E. Bowman St., Wooster, OH 44691.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at Danbury Woods and LifeCare Hospice for the care given to Helen and her family.
