WOOSTER – Norma J. VARNS, 81, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Danbury Woods in Wooster.
She was born December 7, 1934, in Wayne County  the daughter of Raymond and Erma Collier Baker. She married Donald J. Varns on October 7, 1951. He survives.
Norma was a homemaker and retired from Buehler’s after 34 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Dean (Dianne) Varns, Gene (Joyce) Varns and Bonnie Schaaf all of Wooster; grandchildren, Adam and Nate Varns, Megan Burgess, Eric Varns and Matt Schaaf; step-grandchildren, John and Mike Weir, Shannon Zehnal; great-granddaughter, Callie Jean Burgess and step-great-grandchildren, Colton, Syndi, Jace and Marik Weir, Nick Zehnal and Ryan Hicks and a brother Robert Baker of Rittman.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Glenn and Paul Baker and a sister, Dorothy Ackerman.
There will be no calling hours or services
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
