WOOSTER – Betty Marie Mosher, 86, of Wooster, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland.
She was born June 3, 1930 in Ashland, the daughter of Harold Eugene and Mary Barr Helbert.
She had worked for Ashland Rubber in Ashland and was a hostess at Astro Metallurgical. Betty enjoyed sewing, puzzle books and playing cards and making banana pudding.
Surviving are her children, Billie (Ron) Hamlin and Linda Michaels of Wooster, Janet (Pete) Vessel of Mansfield, Mike (Sheila) Michaels of Loudonville, and Randy Michaels of Dayton; step-children, Gary (Denise) Mosher and Robert (Candy) Mosher of Akron, Robin (Kevin) Weiman of Hudson, FL and John (John Hodges, Jr.) Mosher of Seattle, Washington; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Kline of Wooster.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother Erma Helbert, her first husband, Richard C, Michaels in Jan. 1978 and her second husband, Earl Eugene Mosher in 2007 and a grandchild, 3 step- brothers, Bob, Jack and Jerry Veach and a step-sister, Pat Kovinski.
Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the 3:00 p.m. service on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Mr. Daniel R. Michaels and Mr. Jerry Hackworth officiating.
