Lucille Alice Herr, 89, of Wooster, died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born September 15, 1926 in Marysville, to Edgar and Loretta Fath Adelsberger.   On September 18, 1954, she married Leonard Herr.   He survives.
Lucille had worked for Freedlander ™s and was also a homemaker.   She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.   Lucille enjoyed walking, polka and square dancing, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Lucille is survived by her children Lynn Herr of Louisville, KY, Karen (Rick) Cicconetti and Melissa (Tim) Hastings both of Wooster; grandchildren Devin Jones, Quinton Herr, Patrick, Eric and Fred Cicconetti, Stephanie, Amanda and Keri Hastings; great-granddaughter Lucy Jones and a sister Martha Edelblute of Ostrander, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Edgar Adelsberger, Jr., Tom Adelsberger, Robert Adelsberger and a sister Margaret Ann McKitrick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant.   Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
