WOOSTER – Grace Irene JACKSON, 79, of New Concord passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 peacefully in Wooster.
She was born July 14, 1937 in Glover Gap, WV, the daughter of John and Beryl Rice Ballinger. She married Lindsay A. Jackson on November 27, 1957. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2010.
She was a homemaker and had been a machine operator at Rubbermaid for 12 years. Grace enjoyed her family, fishing and camping. She attended the First Church of God.
Surviving are her children, Roger (Cindy) Jackson of Wooster, Victoria (Bob) Strauss of Wooster and Charlotte (Stanley) Johnson of Shreve; grandchildren, Patti Jackson, Laura (Tony) Brooks, Jonathan Jackson, Deanna Strauss, Steven Strauss, Mitchell (Brandy) Johnson, Rachel (Justin) Moore and Tyler Johnson; great-grandchildren, Karsen, Thomas, Mallarry, Madalyne Moore, Xander, Trevor Brooks, Avery, Savannah Johnson and a sister, Jerry Bekeleski of Canal Fulton.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Helen Snider, Eugene, Harold, Larry, Paul, John Ballinger and June Kiger.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Services will be held at the First Church of God, 1953 Akron Rd., Wooster on Thursday, November3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Arnie Kauffman officiating. Private burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
