WOOSTER Kenneth E. Carver, 77, of Wooster passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born February 24, 1939 in Lodi, the son of Carl and Alice Steele Carver. He married Karen England on December 24, 1982. She survives.
He was a State Highway Patrolman for 25 years retiring in 1981 out of the Wooster Post. Kenneth was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, target shooting, motorcycle riding, flying, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Christine (David) Ellis of Shreve, Tracy (Derek) Boyd of Cypress, Texas, Ann (Gary) Morningstar of Wewahitchka, Florida, Matthew (Michelle) Carver of Doylestown, Scott Durbin of Uniontown, Nathan Carver of Dalton and Megan McMillen of Massillon; 17 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Helen Thomas.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Hospice Chaplain Charlotte Glasgo officiating.
