WOOSTER “ Rose A. Snowbarger, 91, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
She was born August 4, 1925 in Wooster, the daughter of Gioacchino and Giovanna Coccia Coppola.
She retired from Sears..   Rose was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Mission Circle.   She was also a member of the Emblem Club.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Abundo, Mark Snowbarger and Jack Snowbarger all of Wooster; grandchildren, Chad (Sherri) Marti, Amy Marti, Mark (Candace) Snowbarger, Michael (Jennifer) Snowbarger and Jamie Snowbarger and 12 great-grandchildren, a niece, Brenda (Don) Glenn, a nephew, Ron (Roberta) Coppola and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Alfred, William, Albert, Samuel, Samuel J. Coppola and her sister, Antoinette A. Coppola on January 3, 2017.
A Mass of Christian Burial for both Rose and her sister Antoinette will be celebrated on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Joseph Seebauer as the celebrant.   Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service at the Church.
