WOOSTER – Marma Jean Jeanne GRIMM, 81, of Wooster, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster.
She was born November 25, 1935 in Mt. Clare, WV, the daughter of Alton and Helen Edmonds Gower.  She married Paul H. Grimm on November 16, 1953.  He preceded her in death on November 23, 2016.
She had been the activities director at the Horn Nursing Home, had been a nurses aide at West View Manner and retired from Freedlander’s.  Older people were her passion.  She was the best wife, mother, grandma, sister and best friend in the world.  Jeanne loved to read, walking at the Gault and was a good cook.
Surviving are daughter, Pamela Nuckols of Wooster, a sister, Virginia Monk of VA, brother, Larry Gower of Akron and a grandson, Maynard Nickols of Marion.
In addition to her husband, Paul, Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Timothy Grimm, and her siblings, Connie Greathouse,  Elizabeth Ward and Terry Robert Gower.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 1:15 p.m. with the Rev. Kristen Patt officiating
