WOOSTER – Nancy L Dilyard, 75, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
She was born January 20, 1942 in Wooster, the daughter of Carl and Nancy Massaro Paull. She married Ronald Dilyard on September 22, 1962. He survives.
She retired in 1998 as a Senior Supervisor from First Federal Savings and Loan after 27 years of service and had previously worked as a secretary for Clyde C. Gault. Nancy was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was timelessly devoted to her family. She made all those that knew her feel loved and cared for.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Matthew (Jennifer) Dilyard, Marianne (Brian) Vincent both of Wooster and Ann (Michael) Birtic of TX; grandchildren, Sophia, Breanna, Nick, Spencer and Keifer; her siblings, Charles (Nancy) Paull of East Greenwich, RI, Carol (Paul) Kopec of Wooster, Tim (Judy) Paull of Fredericksburg and Carl Paull, Jr. of Wooster, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and nephews, David Kopec and Nathaniel Dilyard.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
