WOOSTER – Mabel J Haven, 77, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
She was born November 15, 1939 in Wayne County, the daughter of Lester M. and Malinda (Miller) Miller.  
She was a Therapeutic Program worker at the former ACDC retiring after 30 years.  Mabel enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Thompson  and a son, Dan Haven both of Wooster; grandson, Derek (Amanda) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Shayn Avery Thompson and Eva Grace Thompson; sisters, Vera McKinley and Josephine Gress both of Wooster.
Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Eugene Viebranz and a sister, Alice Hershberger.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Church, 4599 Burbank Rd., Wooster with Pastor Steve Kern officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
