WOOSTER “ Maggie S. Anderson, 98, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton.
She was born May 15, 1919 in Dover, Tennessee, the daughter of Emit Henry and Rutha Belle Chadwick Sholar.
Maggie was a homemaker and had been an Avon Representative for 25 years.   She enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with family.
She is survived by her children, James A. Anderson of Texas, Sylvia Gilliam of Sarasota, Florida, Dexter œDaryl  Anderson of Dalton and Rita Fix of Orrville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;   a brother, Dexter A. Sholar of Illinois.
In addition to her husband, James M. Anderson who passed away on April 18, 1980, she was preceded by her siblings, Henry L., Jud and Franklin Sholar and Teriece Shirley.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 12 noon service on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.   Burial will follow in the Smithville Cemetery.
