WOOSTER “ Marlene Rose O ™Brien, 82, of Wooster passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at her home.
She was born June 9, 1935 in Wooster the daughter of Michael and Anna Weber Kestner.   She married Kenneth O ™Brien in 1956.   He preceded her in death on December 20, 1999.
She had worked for Ohio Power/AEP as an office supervisor for a number of years.   Marlene was a very active member of the Trinity United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her siblings, Melvin (Diane) Kestner of Sarasota, Florida, Evelyn Duell of Wooster and Harlan Kestner of Alliance; nieces and nephews, Sue Knisley of Wheaton, Illinois, Pat Hart of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Mark Duell of Wooster, Jim Kestner of Beloit, Ron Kestner of Atwater, Jeff Kestner of Bremen and Lynnette Toussant of Minerva.
In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North St., Wooster with the Rev. Dr. Kevan Franklin officiating.   Inurnment will be in the Wooster Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
