WOOSTER “ Philip R. Fowler, 75, of Wooster passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Smithville Western Care Center.
He was born March 14, 1942 in Zanesville, the son of Robert and Vivian Coyle Fowler.          
He had worked in sales for various companies and was a member of the North Minster Presbyterian Church.   Philip enjoyed hiking, reading and working puzzles.
Philip proudly served his country with the US Navy.
He is survived by his children, Deborah Reedy of Virginia, Billy Fowler of Massachusetts, Philip Fowler, II of Wooster and Katie (Chris) Doohan of Wooster; 5 grandchildren and a brother, Jim (Jody) Fowler of Chicago.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Robert and a sister, Anita Dixon.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Wooster Bible Church, 344 N. Columbus Ave., Wooster with the Rev. Joe Silvestri officiating.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
