Myralin L. œMarnie  Flickinger, 88, of Wooster passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice following a brief illness.
She was born October 2, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA., the daughter of the late William C. and Florence Henry McClintock.
Marnie graduated from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing.   After graduation, she worked at St. John ™s Hospital in Pittsburgh and later worked at the Wooster Clinic for 25 years.   In 1953, Marnie married Carl, whom she met in Pittsburgh.   As a young woman, Marnie performed with the world renowned Hormel Girls as a singer and traveled throughout the country.
Marnie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wooster where she arranged music for the hand bell choir.   Her hobbies included music, sewing, bridge and raising three children.   She was an avid Steelers fan and loved spending time with friends and family in the Pittsburgh area.
Marnie was preceded in death by her husband Carl R. Flickinger in 1971 and a brother Dr. W. Creighton McClintock of Pittsburgh, PA.  
Surviving are her children Robert O. Flickinger of Columbus, Linda K (Richard) Woodruff of Littleton, CO and Carol A. Flickinger of Powell; grandchildren Erin A Woodruff of Littleton, CO and Corey D. (Tess) Woodruff of Boulder, CO.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.   Private interment will be in Wooster Cemetery.
Friends will be received from Noon until the time of the service on Wednesday.
