WOOSTER Ludwig A. Lud Huck, 84, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born February 14, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Ludwig and Anna Lefrank Huck. He married Margaret Brooks on August 11, 1959. She survives.
Lud proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force.
He had worked for General Electric for 20 years in many areas, lastly as Vice President of Canadian Housewares and then at Curtis Mathes and finally at Rubbermaid as Vice President of New Ventures.
Upon his retirement Lud dedicated himself to the betterment of many organizations around Wooster and Northeast Ohio. His energy and enthusiasm will be sorely missed.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Matthew (Sharon) Huck of Gilbert, AZ and Daniel (Alison) Huck of Shrewsbury, MA; grandchildren, Brian, Emily and Christopher Huck and a sister, Gertrude Loch of Cortlandt Manor, NY and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Alfred Loch.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 12 noon with Rev. Stephen Moran officiating.
