Wooster, Ohio “ Phyllis J. Hoffman, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, Ohio.
Phyllis was born in Wall Lake, Iowa on October 17, 1934 to Tom and Lorena Otke Scott. She married Duane J. Hoffman November 17, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Surviving are children Steve (Barbee) Hoffman, of Nampa, Idaho, Joan (Dean) Kanne of Wooster, Mark Hoffman of Carroll, Iowa, Mary (Bill) Hinger of Columbus, Ohio, Mike Hoffman of Omaha, Nebraska, a Brother, William (Janice) Scott of Wall Lake, Iowa, 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Hoffman and a Sister, Inez Maha
Phyllis was a homemaker who had lived in Carroll, Iowa for the majority of her life. She loved to crochet, read and was an avid dog lover and enjoyed spending time with her family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the donor ™s choice.
McIntire, Bradham and Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 is assisting the family.
