Wanda Kay Goldsmith, 78, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Sycamore Run Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Millersburg.
She was born August 1, 1939 in Hamilton, the daughter of Wayne and Thelma (Barnhill) Ackley.
Wanda was a 1957 graduate of Northwestern High School, and had attended Zion Lutheran Church in Wooster.
She worked at Weitzel Dry Cleaning, and had also been a short order cook at The Parlor Restaurant and Yaco ™s. She retired from Buehler ™s.
Wanda enjoyed watching NASCAR and professional football.
Surviving are her children, Timothy (Patty) Goldsmith of Loudonville, and Jody Smith of Wooster; grandchildren, Crystal Smith, David A. Smith, Nicole Smith, Jordan Goldsmith, Kyle Goldsmith, and David M. Stroud, and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son in law; Michael Smith.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 6-8pm at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11:00am, at the funeral home, with Rev. Phil Money officiating.
