Gavin A. Smith, 13, of Wooster passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Gavin was born November 18, 2004 in Cleveland, the son of Terry E. (Andrea Hommes)Smith and Rhonda R. Wickham, both of Wooster.
He was a 6th grade student at Edgewood Middle School. Gavin loved LEGOs, playing video games, board games, fishing, camping, and science. He also enjoyed the Boys & Girls Club of Wooster after school program.
Surviving in addition to his parents are; siblings, Preston Wickham, Aurora Smith, Avery Smith, and Leigha Ferguson; grandparents, Terry L. Smith of Holmesville, Linda Kestner of Wooster, Coleen May of Zanesville, and Lisa Hommes of Holmesville; great grandparents, Alberta M. Smith of Holmesville, and Ralph E. Wickham of Mt. Gilead; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Wickham.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 4-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, Ohio and also on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Wooster Church of the Nazarene, 3100 Oak Hill Rd., Wooster.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Wooster Church of the Nazarene at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Darryle Moody officiating.
