On March 3, 2018, Juanita Jane Westover, 88, of Wooster left her earthly body to meet her heavenly father Jesus.
Juanita J. Wakefield was born August 3, 1929 in Blachleyville, OH at the home of her parents Merle and Lottie Wakefield.   She attended Blachleyville Grade School and graduated from Shreve High School.   Juanita attended Blachleyville Church of Christ.
Juanita ™s first job away from home started in 1947 on a truck patch farm in Homestead, Florida, then in 1950 she began her journey with Wooster Rubber/Rubbermaid.  She loved her job and was devoted to perfection, as well as the work, Juanita was blessed with coworkers that became bonded friends.   Along with the work there were the carry in dinners with her famous baked corn, baked beans and dressing, as the Thanksgiving and Christmas season came so did the amazing peanut brittle, chocolate and peanut butter fudge.   Her passion was to serve and be a blessing to everyone around her.   She retired in 1997.
Juanita met W. Kenneth Westover at Rubbermaid where he rode a conveyer belt to her work area to meet her for the first time and propose to her at the meeting.   On April 27, 1950, they were married by Rev. Robert Tuck at the new Central Christian Disciples of Christ Church on Market St., Wooster, they were married sixty-nine plus years when Kenneth passed away on January 1, 2015.
Juanita ™s passions were church and family being the greatest mom ever and grandma also.   She loved gardening vegetables and flowers and mowing.   Traveling all over the USA, Canada also taking a trip to Europe in 1984 with Leola and Howard Webb.   One of the favorite places was Myrtle Beach, SC.   where she walked miles in the ocean surf collecting sharks teeth and shells.   Many lasting friendships were made on these traveling adventures around this world.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth, brother Delbert Wakefield, nephew Terry Wakefield, niece Nan Wakefield, sister Viola (Dave) Moffett, brother-in-law Howard E. Webb, niece Olivia (Frank) Webb Emmelheintz, grandson Jerimiah Philip Westover and many beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
