WOOSTER Carol A. Kostohryz, 66 of Wooster went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 22, 2018.
She was born June 14, 1951 in Berea, the daughter of Martin and Dorothy Schmitz Yonkof. She married Wayne Kostohryz on August 12, 1972. He survives.
She was a supervisor in the Junior Department at Kohl s and had worked at Hawkins Market and was a homemaker. Carol was a 32 year member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her and loved her. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending activities of her grandchildren. She loved people and never met a stranger. Family and her Lord were everything to her.
She touched many lives but God was ready to take her home. God is forever. Carol lives in our hearts. Thank you Carol for being you!
Surviving in addition to her husband, Wayne, are her children, Jeffrey (Christina) Kostohryz and David (Julie) Kostohryz both of Wooster and Gregory (Kerri) Kostohryz of West Salem; grandchildren, Caleb, Grace, Keagan, Zakary and Kasey Kostohryz and her siblings, Martin A. (Carol) Yonkof and Paul (Louann) Yonkof both of Sheffield, Janet Sullinger of North Ridgeville, Dorothy (Paul) Pfingsten and Anna Reinker both of Elyria.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4-8:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 3:15 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
