CANAL FULTON “ Gavin D. Griffith, 13, of Canal Fulton passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Rittman.
He was born June 30, 2004 in Orrville, the son of Chad Griffith and Lori Schopf Klump.
Gavin was a 7th grade student at Northwest Middle School.   He had attended West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster.   He loved football, playing youth football for Northwestern where he was nicknamed œSack Attack .   He played junior high football for the Northwest Indians.   Gavin loved animals and had a caring heart and loved all people.   He was a joker and a teaser especially with his family who loved him dearly.
Surviving are his father and step-mother Chad (Laura) Griffith of Canal Fulton and his mother and step-father, Lori (Nick) Klump of Rittman; grandparents, Susan and Ron Ackerman, Donna and Robert Schopf, Terry Klump, Patricia Thiel and Dave and Katy Ertle; great-grandfather, Leland Wolf and great-grandmothers, Wanda Griffith and Edith Schopf; his siblings, Ryker and Kayden Klump, Ian and Myles Schopf, Dylan McManus and Devin Griffith and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 2-6:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Hill Baptist Church, 2241 Mechanicsburg Road, Wooster with the pastors, Dan Wingate and Eric Fairhurst officiating.   Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
