Marybelle S. Rudd, age 87, went to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, July 27, 2018, surrounded by friends and family.
Born in Cleveland on Sept. 5, 1930, to Robert N. and Belle E. (Ludlow) Stuckey, Marybelle was raised in Burton, and resided in Wooster. She graduated from Miami University (OH) in 1952, and taught at Burton High School. In 1953, she married Edward H. Rudd, later moving to Wooster where they raised two children, Lorrie and Judy. She later worked in the registrar ™s office at the College of Wooster.  She greatly enjoyed bird watching, writing poetry for friends and family, was a member of the Hills and Dales Garden Club, Trinity United Church of Christ of Wooster, and a lifetime member of the Burton Congregational Church. She loved spending time with her family out on the farm.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her two daughters, Lorrie Hradek (Douglas) and Judy Montelione (Thomas) both of Wooster, as well as five grandchildren, David Hradek (Cassandra) of Charlotte, NC, Robert Hradek (Sara) of Tiffin, Jeff Hradek of Wooster, Daniel Montelione of Cleveland, and Christine Lindeman (Patrick) of Massillon, and one great-grandchild, Lennon Jean Hradek. Special thanks to Delores Barnett for her caring companionship and to the caring staff at Wayne County Care Center.  
Calling hours are to be held at Trinity United Church of Christ in Wooster, from 9:00 “ 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, with a funeral service and luncheon to follow. Burial will be held at Welton Cemetery in Burton that afternoon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Burton Congregational Church, 14558 West Park Street, Burton, OH, 44021, Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North Street, Wooster, OH, 44691 or the Wayne County Care Center, 876 South Geyers Chapter Rd., Wooster, OH   44691.
Marybelle was a strong and courageous fighter, and persevered through many obstacles in her life. Her kind and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
