Angela Colton, 97, of Wooster, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, died Monday, November 19, 2018 at West View Healthy Living.
She was born November 26, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York to Guisppi and Rosina Imbralli Consoli. On January 7, 1940, she married Michael Colton. He preceded her in death in 2007.
Angela was a seamstress and had made her daughter Elizabeth s wedding dress. She enjoyed flower arranging, reading and sewing. Angela was a most wonderful and caring mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Angela is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Betty (Paul) Riggleman of Wooster and Michelle Meyer of August , GA; grandchildren Jeff Meyer, Deborah Gibbs both of Augusta, GA and Greg Riggleman of Wooster; great-grandchildren Trey Gibbs and Chandler Gibbs, Cortlynn Meyer, Cassie McAndrew, Brittany Stewart, Triston Riggleman, Megan Miller, Lorissa Miller and Dominic Watson; great-great grandchildren Peyton Stewart, Skylar Stewart, Aurora Scott, Jaelynn Reed, Macklynne McAndrew, Karlee McAndrew and Stormi Marlisa Watson along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, Angela was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Sharon Watson; brothers Joseph and Patrick Fischetti and sisters Antonette Consoli, Jospehine Ciccone and Rachel Cupo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Rev. Stephen Moran as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 4:00-6:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
