Charles Eli Mackey, 78, of Wooster died on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Smithville Western Care Center.
He was born January 3, 1940 in Painesville to Eli and Jean Wiseman Mackey.
Charles worked on diesel engines on Lake Erie.   He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1958-1961.
There will be no services or calling hours.
His cremains will be buried at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
