WOOSTER “ John Charles Pruski, 63, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Wayne Co. Care Center.
He was born March 7, 1955 in Columbus, the son of Lt. Commander John and Elizabeth Ann Evely Pruski.   He married his high school sweetheart, Terrylynn Castro on September 4, 1977 in Columbus.   She survives.
John graduated from Grandview Heights High School in Grandview, Ohio in 1973 and from The Ohio State University in 1977 with a double major in math and computer science.   He had worked with statistical genetic results at OSU Veterinary School of Medicine, American Electric Power and Motorist Insurance Company in Columbus and J.P. Morgan-Chase Bank in the Fraud Division.
He had also been a real estate agent with Frank B. Young Realty in Columbus and was involved with Missions to Bimani by providing elementary schools with computers and printers.   John also helped develop T.V. Ministry at Faith Harvest Fellowship in Wooster.   He was also a coach of the Pleasantview Baseball Athletic Assoc. and he enjoyed photography.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, John Raphael Pruski of Smithville, Jason William Pruski of Wooster and Christine Ann-Marie Cancel of Columbus; his mother-in-law Maria T. Smith; grandchildren, Taylor Cheyene Daniels, Isabel Marie Cancel, Abigail Lynn Cancel, Maddison (Dwayne) Moore, Chloe Michelle Daniels, Tyler Daniels, Summer Pruski, Jazlyn Samone Cancel, Landon-Xavier M Daniels, Gracie A. Daniels, Symarra R. Krenciprock and Aryanna M. Krenciprock; great-grandchildren, Mia Lanelle-Rose Moore; Siblings, Joan E. (Press) Southworth of Columbus, Rosemary A. (Tom) Sherard of Huntersville, NC and brothers-in-law, Thomas WC Smith of Columbus and Michael S. Smith of Jeromesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and   grandson, Stephen-Alec William Pruski.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 3:00 p.m. service on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Jerry O ™Brien officiating.   Inurnment of ashes will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus.
