WOOSTER “ Richard D. Taylor, 67, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
He was born February 25, 1951 in Ashland, the son of Howard E. and Emma Miller Taylor.   He married Sandra K. Rock on July 8, 2000.  She survives.
He had been a tanker truck driver for Santmyer Oil for 25 years.   Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his step-children, Shawn Sanderson and Cassandra Badillo and grandchildren, Alanah McCoy and Slayden Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  4. Rich was always eager to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was always able to make us laugh even in the toughest of times. Rich was an amazing father to myself and Grandfather to my children. We love you so much and you truly will be deeply missed by us all. Rest in Peace. I hope you, your dad, and Bunny are up there catching the big ones for us.

  6. Rich was a customer of ours here at Sterling Farm Equipment, I personally worked on his lawn mowers. I always enjoyed talking turkey hunting with him. he was a good dude. Sorry and sad to learn of his passing.

  10. So sorry to hear of Dick”s passing, I went to school with him and he was part of our family growing up!!!! He will truly be missed, the long time friend and brother he was!! Dick, you are now in heaven with our mother, who you called “mom” for years. You will be missed! Prayers to the family!!

  12. Dickie Taylor was one of the good ole boys, never without a good story and a good laugh. He always left you with a smile. We always enjoyed his visits and outlook on life. So glad that our paths crossed with his. He will be missed dearly. Love, light & prayers to you Sandy.

  14. my grandpa was an amazing person and i will always miss him i am greatful to have been taught how to hunt and fish by him and him pretty much being my father i will always have you by my side, i miss you
