WOOSTER “ Rex Alan Gliem, 62, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Smithville Western Care Center.
He was born June 30, 1956 in Wooster, the son of Martin O. and Ann Wengerd Gliem.
He was a graduate of Smithville High School and had been a custodian in the Green Local School District.
Rex is survived by his children, Brooke (Cory) Roth, Brittany (Curt Kuepfer) Gliem, Brienne (Will Thompson) Gliem and Bridget (Kevin Tyson) Lizarraga, his mother of Wooster; his grandchildren, Cameron and Cara Roth and Sergio and Belicia Lizarraga; siblings, Brian Gliem of Shreve and Janet (Greg) Whitmyer of Apple Creek and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

    I am so sorry to hear about Rex. I have lost touch since we all grew up on Summit Street in Smithville, but
    have lots of fun memories of our being neighbors and growing up together! My thoughts and prayers for each of you during this difficult time.
