My prayers are with you all ❤️
I wasn’t very popular in school.. but I remember Devon was always very kind to me and even bothered to remember my name, always telling me hi whenever he saw me. We weren’t very close, but I knew he was a good person and I’m not sure why God decided it was time for him to come home, but I know he’s at peace, with his family before him. I hope his mother reads this, I’m a mother and I couldn’t imagine losing my son, I don’t know how to comfort you, nor do I know your name, I just hope you are with family right now and have so much support. Stay strong momma. Your boy Devon is watching over you now. I’m sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Devon.

I was never close to Devon, but he truly touched my soul and I wish I could’ve let him know that before he was gone. He was always so sweet, he didn’t care who you were or what you looked like. So many people were unkind to me and he always stepped in when he saw and that’s more than I could’ve asked for let alone his smile when we passed in the halls, never a negative think to say to me. I’m not very religious, but I’m forever thankful I got the pleasure of knowing him. I’m so sorry to hear this all. I wish all the best for the family.
I love you brother forever and always on my mind and I’m my heart. Imma leave it at this on here because words can’t explain how I feel and I will have more to say. I love you Devon Lovay Holmes

I remember in high school I would always pick him and Deyshawn up for whatever it may have been, church, Young life, school and he would always be like dude I got you for food or money, and I never took it nor expected anything and he would feel so bad, and I told him I never needed anything iIn return. Always just a kind heart and was always willing to do what he could for others. Great person and even a better man. Devon everyone will miss your smile man, always knew how to light up a room. Rest In Peace, ny friend.
So. Very sorry Dennis for your loss God Bless
Denny how sorrry for your loss! God Bless
We had so many classes together. I remember when we found out there was a place called Jabooty and he would make me say it to him every single day for the rest of the school year because he thought it sounded hilarious because of my accent. He was one of the kindest people I knew. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Rest easy Devon.
I was never close to devon, so I don’t have many things I could say. and words fail during these times, so i’ll leave it at this. When people got picked on, devon never joined in. when kids were mean, devon was never one of those kids. he sat in front of me in a few classes, and nothing made my days brighter more than his goofiness. I’ll always remember the way he saw everyone the same , and never let society choose how he treated people. This was unfair , but I hope you’re resting easy.
I was a teacher at Lincolnway Elementary and worked in some of Devon’s classrooms. He always brought a smile to my face as he would try charm me into getting his way . He always had a greeting for me and a story to share with me. He was a kind soul. Sorry for the family’s lose.

I remember that you would always be at my house to hang out with Titus. Whether you were throwing the football back and forth or in the garage playing video games. You were always so kind to me. You were an amazing person and it breaks my heart to see you go so soon. I’ve never really lost someone before and it’s insanely hard because I’m not sure what to do. I miss you like crazy and love you. I just I would have told you that before it was too late. You left us doing what you loved, playing basketball. Rest in Peace Devon Lovay Holmes.
