Jonathan œJon  Luke Sewell, 31, of Wooster, passed away on Thursday August 1, 2019 at St. John ™s University Hospital in Westlake.
 He was born August 24, 1987 in Wooster.
Jon enjoyed his job at Gionino ™s where he delivered pizzas.   He was very artsy, his most recent project involved marbling t-shirts and paper.   He at one time had LiberTees in downtown Wooster.   Jon also enjoyed working out at the YMCA.   He attended DayBreak Community Church, West Hill Baptist Church and Wooster Bible Church where he enjoyed the Bible Study classes.   Jon always said that œhe was blessed  and his mantra was to œstay positive .  
Jon is survived by his mother, Kari Sewell of Wooster, his father Timothy (Marites) Sewell of Los Angeles, CA; sisters Sarah (Ian) Dodds of Austin, TX, Lesley (Troy) Vendler of Orrville; half-sister Paige Sewell of Tucson, AZ; step-sister Catherine (Jarod) Rhodes of Brunswick; nieces and nephews Austin, Sawyer, Layla, Debbie and Rowan; maternal grandparents Darrell œCy  (Mary Ann) Schrock of Wooster; paternal grandmother Joan Sewell of Beach City and his two best friends Ryan Green and Bart Schenck.
Jon is living on in others by giving the gift of organ donation.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
The family would like to send special thanks to University Hospital St. John ™s Westshore Medical Center, in Westlake.

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I always enjoyed meeting with him and I was just able to see his marbling a few weeks ago! Like you mention, he always greeted me by saying he was blessed, but he was also a blessing!

  5. I will miss you coming into the YMCA. I really enjoyed showing you different ways to get the most out lifting weights. You always projected a positive attitude. Peace be with you. I will keep you in my prayers.

  6. My deepest sympathy to your family. I had the pleasure of working with your son when I owned back in the game. Jon was such a sweet young man and an extremely talented artist. God has called home a beautiful angel who made this world a more beautiful place through his art.

  10. Thinking of your family and the heartache of missing Jonathan.. remember him as a young boy playing little league with Tyson.. what a wonderful man he obviously grew up to be! I’m sure Tyson was one of those who met him on the other side of the veil into Heaven.. the joy in knowing he knew our Savior is deepest you can have!
