WOOSTER “ Cynthia C. Yockey, 78, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
She was born December 26, 1940 in Rittman the daughter of Carroll and Alean Thompson Wright.     She married Richard K. Yockey on August 22, 1970.   He preceded her in death on February 19, 2018.
Cynthia had worked in the Packing Department at Rubbermaid for over 30 years and then became a full time stay at home grandma.   She loved plants, especially bearded irises, gardening, mowing her yard, square dancing and polka and ball room dancing.
Surviving are her children, Jennifer A. Yockey of Wooster and Michael (Robin) Pasterchek of Rittman; grandchildren, Amanda (Ryan) Huddleston of Wooster, Shane, Crystal and Alyssa Pasterchek and many grand dogs.
In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Charles Shannon and her siblings, Harrietta Hothem, Ruth Savage, Milicent Sabo and Charles Wright.
There will be no calling hours.   A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 2-4:30 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

  2. Our deepest sympathy to the family. Just now saw this article. Cynthia was an excellent coworker. We used to see her and Richard in town many times and always enjoyed talking with them.. Prayers, Colleen and Phi Ritzi
