WOOSTER “ Richard Milton Stofer, 87, of Wooster passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Wooster.
He was born September 17, 1931 in Lakewood the son of John Milton and Lillian Tinnerman Stofer.
He was Valedictorian of his graduating class at Brecksville High School and graduated Cum Laude from Harvard College.   He had worked as a building estimator for Bogner Construction Co.   Richard enjoyed reading, classical music and running and walking.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army from 1953-1955.
Richard is survived by a brother, John M. Stofer, Jr. of Wooster.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
