WALNUT CREEK “ Betty L. Taylor, 86, of Walnut Creek and formerly of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Walnut Hills Nursing Home.
She was born August 30, 1933 in Shanesville, Ohio, the daughter of Erwin and Martha Mast Stutzman.   Betty had worked in the Dietary Department at Wooster Community Hospital and retired as a baker.   She was a member of the Oak Chapel United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Surviving are her children, Kathy (Bill) Greene of Columbus and Sharon (Neal) Baker of Lakeville; grandchildren, Michelle (Aaron) D ™Amico, Cabot (Melissa) Baker, Collin Greene and Elise Greene; great-grandchildren, Mairi Rose D ™Amico, Genevieve D ™Amico and Quinn D ™Amico, a sister, Jean Shoup of Apple Creek and a daughter-in-law, Tari Kamansky.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband of 54 years, Blaine Taylor on November 18, 2007, a son Brian Taylor and brothers, Vernon and George Stutzman.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 2-4:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Oak Chapel United Methodist Church, 4203 W. Old Lincoln Way, Wooster on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Finn officiating.   Burial will be in the Warner Pioneer Cemetery.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Oak Chapel United Methodist Church.
